A taxonomic review of the Pterophoridae (Lepidoptera) from Argentina and Chile Naturalis

The known species of Pterophoridae occurring in Argentina and Chile are reviewed. Nearly all the available type specimens of species occurring in the area have been examined and five new synonyms have been established. Some primary types are considered to be lost. In this paper three new genera and 29 new species are described. The adults of all species, and the male and female genitalia are illustrated. The distribution is mapped.

Het genus Hylaeus in Nederland (Hymenoptera, Colletidae) : with a key to the species of N.W. Europe in English Naturalis

The distribution and ecology of all twenty species of Hylaeus Fabricius, 1793 occurring in The Netherlands are discussed. A comprehensive key (in English) to the species of The Netherlands and adjacent areas is given. The maps illustrating the distribution within The Netherlands are based upon ca. 10,000 specimens. The collection of the Leiden Museum and literature sources were used in preparing the maps showing the distribution in Europe. Two species, H. pfankuchi and H. styriacus, have not been recorded from the Netherlands since 1950.

Revision of the genera of the subfamily Sigalphinae (Hymenoptera: Braconidae), including a revision of the Australian species Naturalis

A key to all known genera of the Sigalphinae (Braconidae) is given and all genera are described and fully illustrated. Two new genera from the Australian region and one from the Afrotropical region are described: Notosigalphus gen. nov. (type species: Sphaeropyx conjugator Turner, 1917), Aposigalphus gen. nov. (type species: Aposigalphus tessi spec. nov.), and Malasigalphus gen. nov. (type species: Malasigalphus petiolaris spec. nov.). Keys to the Australian and Palaearctic species of Sigalphinae are given. The new tribe Afrocampsini is proposed for the Afrotropical genera Malasigalphus gen. nov. and Afrocampsis van Achterberg & Quicke, 1990. Sigalphus hunanus You & Tong, 1991, and S. anonis You & Zhou, 1991, are synonymized with S. irrorator...

Revision of the West Palaearctic species of the genus Bassus Fabricius (Hymenoptera: Braconidae) Naturalis

The West Palaearctic species of the genus Bassus Fabricius, 1804 (Braconidae: Agathidinae) are revised and keyed, together with the similar Agathis mediator group. Twenty-two species of Bassus and four species of the Agathis mediator group are recognized, of which three are new: B. barbieri from Algeria, B. epinotiae from Great Britain, and B. graecus from Greece. Seven species are synonymized: Microdus lugubrator Ratzeburg, 1852 with B. mediator (Nees, 1814), Microdus punctatus Abdinbekova, 1975 with B. rugulosus (Nees, 1834), Microdus annae Enderlein, 1908, Microdus victoris Telenga, 1955, and M. anuphrievi Tobias, 1986 with B. tumidulus (Nees, 1814), Microdus rufiventris Abdinbekova, 1975 with B. nugax (Reinhard, 1867), and Agathis minuta Niezabitowski,...

The Genera of the Aspilota-Group and some descriptions of Fungicolous Alysiini from the Netherlands (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Alysiinae) Naturalis

The genera of the Aspilota-group are redefined and keyed. One new genus is described: Leptotrema gen. nov.; type-species: Aspilota dentifemur Stelfox, 1943.The genus Dinotrema Foerster, 1862 is given generic status to include the majority of the species of Aspilota auct.; the genus Pterusa Fischer, 1958 is included in the Alysiini. The genus Eusynaldis Zaykov & Fischer, 1982 is synonymized with Aspilota Foerster, 1862 s.s.; Coloboma Foerster, 1862, Prosapha Foerster, 1862 and Synaldis Foerster, 1862 are new synonyms of Dinotrema Foerster, 1862.
